Cheerleading?
I have no prior cheerleading experiance except when I was about 6 or 7. I want to be a cheerleader at my school next year. I need to be able to the splits, a roundoff, a double jump, a toe-touch jump, a tuck jump, and a roundoff toe touch.
It also would be helpful to have some tips that cheer coachs look for in a cheerleader.
Oops, I forgot my question. If you could leave any tips for learning this stuff (especially the jumps.)

alright, during tryouts, coaches look for smiley all the time, as well as interacting well with the other girls. you have to do splits? all you can do for those is stretch stretch strecth everday really good! when doing a roundoff, make sure you REACH!! don’t try to make ur hands land next to your feet. this video is good, but when you do a roundoff and finish it, REBOUND, or jump straight up in the air after you get done.
good luck!!

this site shows you jumps including the toe- touch and tuck jump
when doing a double jump, hit the first jump on the count of 5 and the second one on the count of 8. i recommend doing a toea touch the a herkie, make sure that the second jump is higher than the first one. a tuck jump is really simple and won’t take long to learn. don’t worry too much about not having any expeirence, cuz if you show good potential, and try to learn every thing they are teaching you ,then the coaches will pick you!!
p.s SMILE SMILE SMILE ****** expressions are the most important part!!

You need to have an upneat attitude and also do the basic gymnastic moves well. You need not be a great dancer or gymnast but you need to do the basics well. Remember to smile and do what you can do well and have confidence.
