How does the prep in cheerleading jumps go?
My tryouts are coming up soon i really want to work on my jumps cuz everything else is pretty good. If i have really good jumps i can make Varsity. I’ve done cheerleading before but took a lil break. I just need someone to refresh me on how its done.

Well the hurkie is where you jump up with one leg back and one leg forword, but the back leg is facing down.
toe touch is where you jump up with both them up and in front of you, but you don’t really touch your toes, you just lean forword.
pike is where both your legs are up and there together and you reach up to your feet
side hurdler is where back foot is facing kinda to the side and the other foot is in front of you.
to work on your jumps for any of them, is to strech all the musales (sp) in your legs. so if you go to google or anything and type in for the key word like cheer strehing or something, it should come up with some good stuff!
