What to do to make freshman cheerleading?

Freshman can’t make varsity, so I want to go out for freshman cheerleading. I’ve never done cheerleading, but I have competed gymnastics and now do a tumbling class. I can do a back handspring and probably will have a standing back tuck before tryouts. What else do I need to know/learn before tryouts?
